This special and rare chair was designed by Cees Braakman in the 1950s and is named model SM01. The chair features a distinctive metal frame with an upholstered backrest and seat. Both have been newly upholstered in a furniture fabric designed by Fanny Aronsen for Kvadrat. This fabric is called Vidar and consists of 95% wool and 5% nylon. The fabric has a beautiful warm mustard yellow colour. A colour in which you could also see these chairs leaving the Pastoe factory more than 70 years ago, but now in a more modern look. The chair is 81 cm high in total and has a seat height of 45 cm. A real eye-catcher, for example at a desk or dining table. The chair is in vintage but good condition.
