This model 9 sun series table lamp, or ‘zonneserie,’ by H. Busquet for Hala Zeist is a striking example of 1950s Dutch design. Its shade consists of two layers, with an outer layer featuring slats that can be adjusted to control the amount of light passing through. This creates a warm and cozy glow, enhancing its functional and decorative appeal.
The shade has a beautiful soft yellow color, complemented by a grey base that adds a refined contrast. Showing signs of use with some scratches, it retains its original charm and character.
