Product description
Very decorative pair of opaline glass jars, France ca. 1950–60. Beautiful translucent glass with a subtle bluish tint, hand-painted floral decoration, and gilding. Special feature: mirrored decoration, originally designed as a set – ideal for symmetrical arrangement (cabinet, mantelpiece, windowsill). The glass is of fine quality and has a clear, pure sound with a beautiful reverberation when tapped. Features a central opening at the bottom (originally for mounting on a base or stand), also perfect for individual use. Height: ±20 cm Condition: very good, slight wear to the gold consistent with age. Price: €135 for the pair
