Product description
Striking MCM handle vase by Heyne Keramik, produced in the family studio in West Germany during the 1960s. This sculptural piece is finished in an intense ultramarine Klein blue fat lava glaze, beautifully contrasted by Heyne’s signature dark red/brown clay, visible on the base.
The bold glaze texture and expressive form are hallmarks of West German Pottery, making this vase a standout decorative accent whether styled as a pitcher vase, jug vase, or purely sculptural object. Maker’s marks are present underneath, confirming its authenticity.
A highly collectible example of German midcentury ceramic craftsmanship.
