Product description
This is a handmade studio ceramic candle holder, manufactured in the Mid-Century period. The object has the classic tazza shape, characterized by a wide dish on an elegant, profiled base. The candle holder is made of stoneware or terracotta and has a height of 22 cm and a diameter of 19 cm. The piece is finished with a refined celadon green glaze that shows a subtle craquelure effect and a beautiful patina. On the edges and the incised fluting on the stem, the glaze is applied more thinly, revealing the underlying reddish-brown color of the clay and creating a warm contrast. The object is in very good, original condition, consistent with its age and artisanal nature. On the underside, the candle holder is signed in the clay with the monogram 'YB', confirming its authenticity and unique character as a handmade work of art. With its sculptural form and layered texture, this tazza candle holder is a characterful object that fits into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to a more eclectic or minimalist decor.
