A beautiful, original vintage Casala armchair from the 50s/60s. An absolute icon of German Mid-Century Modern design.The chair is in fantastic vintage condition and features the authentic, embossed Casala brand mark in the wooden frame. With its sculptural forms, characteristic spindle back, and slanted legs, this is a real eye-catcher. Unique to this piece: This is the more luxurious version with a convex, sprung seat. Underneath the black skai upholstery, there is still the original, authentic interior springing (steel coil springs). This ensures an exceptionally comfortable, resilient seating experience that is rarely found in this type of spindle chair today!Features:Designer/Manufacturer: Casala (West-Germany)Period: 50s / 60s (Mid-Century Modern)Material: Solid beech wood frame, comfortable convex seat and back strap upholstered with authentic black skai (imitation leather).Comfort: Equipped with high-quality sprung interior (steel springs).Condition: Very good vintage condition.
