About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the Max. Mover Wall light, a design by German lighting designer Ingo Maurer and his team. The piece combines an industrial aesthetic with functional flexibility, characteristic of Maurer's innovative approach to lighting. The design, dating from around the year 2000, is a testament to technical ingenuity and minimalist design.
The lamp is made from a combination of materials, including a telescopic arm that is adjustable in length from 110 to 210. The shade is made of fiberglass with a reflective aluminum interior, which provides a focused and bright beam of light. The lamp hangs from 2 wires on the ceiling or wall (see photo 6), and rests on the bottom of the lamp where the transformer is also located. Thanks to the adjustable arm and the 180-degree rotatable reflector, the light can be directed exactly where it is needed.
This piece is in good condition, retaining its original finishes and structural integrity. The materials show a character consistent with careful use and the age of the object. The original instructions are present, confirming the authenticity and completeness of this piece.
The Max. Mover is a versatile lighting solution suitable as a reading lamp next to an armchair, as accent lighting in a living room, or as functional lighting above a workspace. Its slim profile and neutral color scheme make it a suitable addition to modern, minimalist, and industrial interiors.
NOTE! THIS LAMP IS FROM 2001 AND IS NOT THE MORE MODERN LED VERSION!
