This armchair was designed by the well-known furniture designers Madsen and Schubell for furniture factory Bovenkamp from Hilversum. Bovenkamp was a major importer of Danish design furniture in the second half of the last century. The armchair shown has been completely re-finished, the teak wooden frame has been repainted, and the armchair has been provided with a new filling. The upholstery is made of high quality cowhide leather. In short, this armchair can last for the next seventy years!
