Vintage design armchair A fantastic Falcon chair lowback set with ottoman and slate table. A design by Sigurd Ressell (Norway) for Vatne Møbler in the 1970s. The frame is beautifully made of chromed steel, which was the standard in the early years. In the mid-1970s, wood replaced the chromed steel and they also abandoned the leather straps and replaced them with the metal rings. So this lowback is a real classic! Relax armchair with ottoman The black leather seat has a beautiful patina, without cracks or creaks. The ottoman is of the same age but has been used more intensively. See pictures. The chrome of the set has clearly been polished several times over the decades but not rusted! Unique to this set is the slate table with a sawn slate top, which is really a rarity because they usually fell quickly. This trinity contains everything Vatne brought onto the market in the early 1970s. Overall this set is still in very good vintage condition.
