Elegant cabriolet armchair in Louis XVI style, late 19th century.
The armchair features a beautiful gilded wooden structure, a medallion backrest, elegantly curved armrests, and four fluted legs characteristic of the Louis XVI style.
It is fully upholstered in a superb damask fabric in shades of burgundy and cream, adorned with particularly decorative floral and vegetal patterns. The fabric also covers the armrests and adds significant presence to the whole.
The patinated gilding displays lovely nuances that enhance its antique charm.
A piece full of character, ideal for a classic, romantic, country house decor, or to add a chic and theatrical touch to a more contemporary interior.
