Product description
Side table model Ella, designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé in the early 1960s. Originally sold as a TV table, now a nice side table next to a sofa, armchair or bed.
The top is made of teak with softly rounded corners. The four tapered legs are connected by a slightly curved cross connection, a typical detail of Van Teeffelen. At the bottom there is a shelf with rattan weaving in a teak frame, useful for books or magazines.
Van Teeffelen was chief designer at Wébé and brought Scandinavian design to Dutch furniture. His work is therefore often mistaken for Danish design.
