Product description
The iconic Opala table lamp/desk lamp, designed in 1973 by the legendary Danish designer Hans J. Wegner. Features & Background Origin: Originally designed as part of a larger lighting series for the Hotel Scandinavia in Copenhagen. Design: The lamp stands out due to its futuristic, asymmetrical shade of opal acrylic glass and the characteristic painted aluminium 'hat' at the top. This specific vintage model is finished in an anthracite/taupe colour. Manufacturers: The early, original vintage editions were produced by Louis Poulsen (like the example in the photo). In fine condition with minimal signs of use. For the front: small dent on the aluminium shade, but not noticeable.
