This is about Louis Poulsen lights – originals – manufactured by the renowned design company Louis Poulsen, based on a design by the Danish architect Jens Møller Jensen. These large, powerful pendant lights are ideal for furnishing areas in public buildings or administrative offices. They are equally suitable for event halls, restaurants, or as a centerpiece above the dining table in your home. Multiple identical lights are available. > 50 pieces. The price is per light. Louis Poulsen - Orbiter Maxi approx. 500 mm Albertslund Design Jens Møller Jensen. Jens Møller Jensen designed the models in the Albertslund series in 1963 for a residential area in Albertslund, a suburb of Copenhagen. The lights in this series share similar design elements, each featuring a glare-control ring, vertical struts, and a large, flat ring that also serves as a reflector. The two small and the large Saturn rings are designed to create an evenly illuminated area in the room. They direct and divide the light upwards and downwards, creating a decorative interplay of light and shadow together with the three vertical struts. The light emits a diffused, soft, and pleasant light. The Orbiter Maxi from the Albertslund series, with its characteristic Saturn rings, is a true classic—a timelessly elegant pendant light. The desired lighting effect can be varied and enhanced with a choice of clear or frosted acrylic diffuser. Material: Aluminum, white powder-coated, weight approx. 6 kg. The light has three sockets and is suitable for LED bulbs with a G24d base. It features a textile cable and a separate suspension system with a pull wire. Condition: Some lamps may have minor scratches, and the white coating on the suspension wire may be slightly brittle. These high-quality lamps have been out of production for years and are therefore only available used. They are now used worldwide as an architectural highlight.
