Louis Poulsen - Orbiter Maxi

The Louis Poulsen brand is known for its high-quality and timeless Danish design, which is also evident in this light fixture. Jens Møller Jensen designed the models of the "Albertslund series" in 1963 for a residential area in Albertslund, a suburb of Copenhagen.
The lights in this series share similar design elements and, like the Albertslund series, each features a glare-control ring, vertical struts, and a large, flat ring that also serves as a reflector.
The Orbiter Maxi from the Albertslund series, with its characteristic Saturn rings, is a true classic, a timelessly elegant pendant light.
The light emits a diffused, soft, and pleasant light.
Material: Aluminum, white powder-coated, weight approx. 6 kg.
Multiple identical lights are available.
The original light fixture is equipped with three 18W compact fluorescent lamps, such as Osram Dulux.
The light fixture has three G24d sockets and can be used with energy-efficient LEDs in warm white or neutral white.
The two small and the large Saturn ring are designed to create an evenly illuminated area in the room.
They direct and divide the light upwards and downwards, creating a decorative play of light and shadow together with the three vertical struts.
The desired lighting effect can be varied and enhanced with an optional acrylic diffuser, available in clear or frosted finish.
The price is €30 per diffuser.
However, the standard delivery does not include this diffuser.
This lamp has been out of production for many years and is therefore only available secondhand. It is used worldwide today as the perfect finishing touch in architectural designs.
The lamps are in very good condition, but not new.
