This table is an absolute eye-catcher. The copper is in a beautiful, patinated condition, and the vibrant yet natural oxidation and bronze color are truly breathtaking. Lorenzo Burchiellaro (born 1933) is an Italian designer and sculptor. He is known for his artistic use of metals and the creation of decorative objects and furniture. His preferred materials are often metals, gold, silver, aluminum, zinc, and in this case, copper. Burchiellaro's sculptural skills are clearly evident in this table, which could easily be considered a work of art. This side table is no exception. With its rectangular top resting on round legs, the table is not only unique in its composition, but also the way Burchiellaro arranges straight-cut copper pieces on the top, creating a striking patchwork effect with vibrant color gradations. The stamp lines are also visible, emphasizing the table's artisanal qualities.
