This is a lighting object serving as a storage place for books or magazines, as well as a reading light.
The cover cylinder of the upper section can be rotated, allowing the light to be directed or averted.
The 6 parts are connected by a plexiglass tube containing a TL5 tube, which can be dimmed.
All parts can be rotated independently of each other; a ring of spheres has been milled into the outer surfaces to facilitate rotation.
The spheres are blue transparent glass marbles, which are illuminated by the fluorescent tube.
The owner can create ever-changing compositions of the elements themselves.
Materials:
- Solid black MDF, finished with transparent lacquer on the edges.
- Outer sides of elements: HPL with a black and white terrazzo motif.
- Inner sides: White HPL. - plexiglass tube.
