For sale: an AVL Office Chair by Lensvelt, designed by Atelier van Lieshout (Joep van Lieshout).
This office chair is a Dutch design classic, recognizable by the sleek, angular design of the seat, back, and armrests. The chair is also featured in the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and was used during the Nuclear Security Summit in 2014.
Condition: very good. The chair has been re-upholstered in teal/sage from Kvadrat or De Ploeg, if I'm not mistaken. The base is in very good condition, only needs a dust wipe if you want it absolutely pristine. The mechanism still works like new: the chair is height adjustable and tilts very smoothly.
Dimensions: 62 x 62 x 83-95 cm (w x d x h), seat height 45-57 cm.
The new price for this model is around •2000.
