Large Italian wall mirror from the 1970s, at the intersection of Space Age and postmodern design. Geometric chrome steel frame housing a large circular mirror, punctuated by two red round inserts arranged diagonally. The interplay between geometric shapes, chrome, and touches of color creates a graphic and asymmetrical composition, characteristic of the avant-garde of Italian design from this period. A singular decorative piece, both functional and sculptural. Italy, circa 1970.
