Large baluster-shaped ceramic art vase from the 1970s, attributed to the ceramist Thomas Buxó, an artist active between Spain and Amsterdam.
Style and decoration: Modernist and abstract ceramic art. Royal blue background with a satin finish, decorated with splashes of polychrome glazes (olive green, salmon, yellow) creating textured, raised effects.
The flared neck features drips of glossy black glaze with metallic reflections, contrasting with the raw terracotta interior.
Signature: Cursive monogram incised with a stylus under the base. After cross-referencing several opinions on specialized forums and identifying a similar piece (a plate), the design corresponds to Thomas Buxó's workshop signature.
Very good condition.
Height: 39 cm, Width: 17 cm, Neck diameter: 14 cm.
No shipping due to size, to be collected in the Clermont area (Oise).
