A museum-quality, large Brutalist wall sculpture with integrated ambient lighting by the renowned Belgian Atelier Pia Manu (Ingelmunster), handmade by Jules Dewaele around 1970. This exclusive lighting object is an absolute masterpiece from the atelier's oeuvre and is much rarer than their well-known coffee tables. The sculpture has a powerful, organic silhouette constructed from raw, dark materials. The central part is inlaid with colored and cut glass mosaic (dalles de verre) in deep turquoise, blue, and green tones. As soon as the backlighting is switched on, a magical, mysterious light effect is created, with the glass illuminating intensely. The object is officially and unequivocally provided with the hand-scratched signature "PIA MANU" on the back in the cast resin/metal (see detail photo). This offers collectors and auction houses 100% guarantee of authenticity.
