Circa : 1960 Height : 46 cm / 18.1 In. Diameter : 13 cm / 5.1 In. Weight : 3.5 KG REF : NAU7371024 Gustaf Leek (1923-1986) worked with Swedish glassmaker Orrefors, founded in 1898, in the 1960s. This company was already renowned for the quality of its crystal and its expertise in art glass. During this collaboration, Leek, with his clean, avant-garde style, brought a new perspective to the company's traditional techniques, creating works that emphasized the transparency and light effects of crystal. This 1960s collaboration strengthened Orrefors' brand image and made it a full member of the Scandinavian modernist movement.
