Vintage Table lamp signed François Châtain, French manufacture.
Very beautiful decorative piece with a sculptural design, composed of superimposed rounded volumes in deep violet, pink, and mauve tones, with a large matching lampshade.
The lamp bears its original label:
François CHATAIN – Made In France
The electrical housing is also marked:
François Châtain – Ref. 2 Series A – 230 V – Max 75 W – E27
The lamp works perfectly.
It is in very good overall condition, with only slight traces of use consistent with its age. The varnished parts are shiny and retain very beautiful colors.
A strong and very decorative piece, typical of French postmodern design from the 1980s/1990s, ideal for a vintage, contemporary, or eclectic interior.
