Vintage 'Krokus' Lounge Chair by Lennart Bender for Ulferts AB (1968) An iconic piece of Scandinavian Space Age design, the Krokus chair was designed by Lennart Bender in 1968 for the Swedish manufacturer Ulferts AB. Featuring a dramatic, flower-like sculptural silhouette, this rare lounge chair combines a molded off-white fiberglass base with its original, supple dark brown leather upholstery. The contrasting materials and organic form create an unmistakable statement piece for any mid-century modern or contemporary interior. In excellent vintage condition. The original dark brown leather remains soft and supple, exhibiting a rich, light patina consistent with age and gentle use. The glossy molded base is intact with no cracks or major structural defects, showing only minor superficial surface wear.
