Product description
This is a glass bowl by the Swedish master glass artist Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda. The piece is part of the iconic 'Satellite' series, known for its vibrant colors and enclosed abstract forms that seem to float in the glass.
The bowl is made of clear glass with a predominantly yellow color, enriched with a complex pattern of colored powders and inlaid metal foil in various shades. This technique, for which Vallien is known, gives the object exceptional depth and texture. On the underside, the bowl is signed 'Kosta Boda B. Vallien' and numbered, confirming its authenticity and collector's value.
This vintage object is in excellent condition, retaining its original clarity and color intensity. It is a beautiful example of Scandinavian glass design and a work of art in itself.
