A vintage wall light by the Dutch manufacturer Dijkstra Lampen, a characteristic design from the seventies. This piece embodies the aesthetic of the Space Age era with its spherical shade and functional, industrial finish. The combination of the smoked plastic shade and the metal frame makes it a striking example of Dutch Design from that period. The lamp is made with a translucent brown acrylic plastic shade, set in a stainless steel frame. The sphere has a diameter of 24 cm. A hinged arm, attached to a wall plate, allows the lamp to be extended and rotated, while the shade itself can tilt to direct the light exactly where it is needed. The inside of the shade is painted white for optimal light reflection. This lighting object is in good vintage condition, with a character that matches its age. The original materials and finishes have been preserved and show an authentic patina. The overall construction is solid and the mechanical parts function properly. This adjustable wall light is ideal as a reading lamp next to an armchair, as functional lighting in a home office, or as an atmospheric accent in a hallway.
