Beautiful vintage mirror with a Sculpture made of copper and brass depicting a sailboat, reeds in the foreground and the setting sun in the background, signed by Belgian artist Daniel D’haeseleer, Hollywood Regency art object from the 1970s. Elegant art object, very high quality crafted from copper, Hollywood Regency style object to decorate your wall, this type of object fits very well in a vintage or modern interior! D’haeseleer (born in Aalst in 1947) studied at the art academy and started as a graphic artist, later evolving into bas-relief Sculptures and three-dimensional art. He masters various techniques, but is especially specialized in working with different types of metals such as copper, brass and bronze. His works have been exhibited in various museums at home and abroad.
