The Kodak A Model 11 is one of the most elegant folding cameras produced by Kodak-Pathé France between 1953 and 1960. Its two-tone silhouette, with a black bakelite body and taupe gray top, its black accordion bellows, and its chrome-ringed lens make it a photographic object of great formal sobriety, representative of post-war French industrial design. This unit comes with its original brown leather case, in very good condition, with its chrome snap closure. The interior of the film chamber is clean, the bellows are intact with no visible tears, and the film advance mechanism is present. The camera operates with 620 film, a medium format film still available today from analog photography specialists. Placed on a shelf or desk, it immediately evokes family Sundays, film vacation photos, and that era when photography was a thoughtful act.
