Keith Haring (Reading, Pennsylvania 1958 - New York 1990) was an American artist. The art created by Keith Haring is sometimes (unfairly) called pop art, but the terms graffiti-art and modern art are also used. His cartoon-like paintings and drawings were about AIDS, drugs and apartheid, among other things. Keith Haring died in 1990.
