A characterful and generous Art Deco sideboard from France, circa 1930–1940, made of warm mahogany wood / mahogany veneer.
The piece of furniture has a particularly elegant design with rounded sides, decorative legs, and beautiful doors with a striking sunburst pattern in the veneer. The original brass-colored knobs and key plates complete the look.
Behind the doors, there is plenty of practical storage space, with shelves and a central drawer. Due to its generous size, the piece is beautiful as a buffet cabinet, sideboard, display cabinet, or statement piece in a spacious interior.
The furniture is in authentic vintage condition. There are visible signs of use consistent with its age, including discoloration of the lacquer on the top. Please see the detailed photos for this.
Precisely the original patina gives the furniture a lot of character. For those who wish, the top can, of course, be professionally restored.
