Product description
An impressive and atmospheric painting, a floral still life in the tradition of the classical masters. This grand painting depicts a lush bouquet including roses and lilacs, executed with great attention to detail and warm lighting.
The work is signed "A. Jordin" in the lower right corner. Given the style and the reverse side of the canvas, the work presumably dates from the mid-20th century. It is a technically very skillfully executed painting with beautiful fine craquelé, giving the whole an authentic, antique appearance.
At a height of no less than 120 cm, this is a rare large format that immediately adds character to a room. The painting is framed in a heavy, gold-colored ornamental frame that is in excellent condition.
