For sale is an absolute masterpiece of Danish Mid-Century design: The iconic 2 seaters from the „Capella“ series, designed by Illum Wikkelsø and manufactured by Niels Eilersen in the 1960s. This model impresses with its sculptural frame made of solid, beautifully grained rosewood. The masterfully crafted plug connections and elegant lines make the sofa an eye-catcher from every perspective. It is equipped with the original, loose cushions made of genuine black leather. Excellent vintage condition with only minimal, age-related traces that are not worth mentioning. The leather is wonderfully supple, without cracks or holes, and shows a fantastic patina. The rosewood frame is stable, well-maintained, and displays the characteristically dark wood grain in its full glory. An absolutely collectible original. Legal: A valid CITES certificate (species protection certificate) for the rosewood is available and will be handed over to the buyer in original upon purchase.
