Product description
This is a glass tealight holder by the Finnish manufacturer Iittala, designed by the influential architect and designer Alvar Aalto. The piece is part of the iconic Aalto collection, known for its organic, undulating forms inspired by the Finnish lakes.
The holder is made of high-quality glass and finished in a subtle grey color, referred to by the manufacturer as 'grey/harmaa'. With a height of 55 millimeters, this is a compact and refined object. Production took place in Finland, which underlines the authenticity and craftsmanship of the piece. The asymmetrical, flowing lines are characteristic of Aalto's modernist work and make each item unique.
The object is in impeccable condition, as evidenced by the presence of the original Iittala brand sticker and the label on the underside. The glass is clear and free of signs of use, indicating careful preservation. The holder is complete and retains its original finish and appearance.
This tealight holder is a timeless addition to various interior styles, from Scandinavian to modern and minimalist. The object functions both as an atmospheric light source and as a sculptural decorative element on a dresser, side table, or windowsill.
