Product description
Offered: a beautiful, 4-piece postmodern design set. The basis of this set is the iconic "Spyder" coffee table, designed by the world-renowned Italian master Ettore Sottsass for Knoll International (design circa 1984). This postmodern masterpiece is an amazing example of the Memphis style from that period. The central coffee table owes its name to the striking, sculptural base of curved metal "spider legs" that is elegantly visible through the thick glass top. This coffee table comes with three separate, matching satellite side tables with a wooden (beech) veneer top and matching black legs. Because the tables are completely separate, you can playfully slide them under or around the glass table, or use them separately in the room as handy side tables. The entire set is in a very beautiful and solid vintage condition. Naturally, the glass main top has acquired some light, superficial scratches over time (normal signs of use for its age, hardly visible 'to the layman' and therefore absolutely not disturbing). The lacquer of the frames is very neat and the wooden tops of the separate tables are also in very good condition. A unique and very flexible eye-catcher for lovers of high-end vintage design! Dimensions: - glass top has a diameter of 110 cm and a height of 44 cm - 3 side tables: 64 long, 40 cm wide and 40 cm high. Due to the size and fragility of the glass top, the set can only be picked up in Steenbergen. For questions, feel free to send a message!
