Product description
This set of two Carl Straub lounge chairs from the 1970s is a striking example of Space Age design. The flowing, sculptural silhouette and contrasting materials make these chairs a striking addition to any interior. The chairs are crafted with a white fiberglass shell that takes on a seamless, organic form. The seat and backrest are upholstered in black leather, creating a comfortable and visually appealing contrast with the smooth, light base. The combination of these materials is characteristic of the innovative production techniques of that decade. The chairs are in good condition, commensurate with their age and use. The leather has developed a natural patina, and the fiberglass shells show characteristic signs of their history, contributing to the authentic vintage look of the set. These lounge chairs come into their own perfectly in a modern, eclectic, or retro-inspired interior. They not only offer a comfortable seat but also function as sculptural objects that enrich the space.
