Designer:
Horst Brüning, *1934 in Hamburg
Info...
Horst Brüning studied architecture and interior design at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg until 1956. After stays in Copenhagen and Stockholm, where he studied industrial design, the Hamburg native opened a design and architecture office in Stuttgart in 1963. Brüning designed significant table, armchair, and chair programs for renowned manufacturers such as KILL International or COR, which are used in both residential and office areas. His style is characterized by a demand for minimalism, clarity, distinctiveness, and longevity with corresponding seating quality. Through his work for Kill, he also came into contact with the two Danish architects Jørgen Kastholm and Preben Fabricius, who also received international recognition.
Material:
Profile steel / Crystal glass
Color:
silvery / clear
Dimensions:
W: 150cm; D: 76cm; H: 40cm; Thickness of the glass top: 19mm
Condition:
The glass table has been restored by us and is technically and visually in impeccable, very good, and like-new condition. It is very well maintained and has only very, very minor signs of wear. The ground and chrome-plated frame is like new and has none of the often usual significant dents and scratches. The glass top is also in an exceptional and excellent condition. A small chip (see last photo) on the underside, which is barely noticeable, is not worth mentioning and does not affect this absolutely excellent condition in any way. It is hardly possible to find this table in a better condition!
