Magnificent Nautilus wall clock by Oscar Tusquets Blanca for Mobles 114. Barcelona Spain 1995. A piece by this fabulous designer. Rigid beige plastic structure. 24h Arabic numeral format, designed in a spiral. Silver hands. On top rests a transparent glass plate on which the model, designer, and manufacturer information are engraved. Inscriptions also on the back. Exceptional condition. Diameter 32.5 cm. Depth 4 cm. Fast and very careful shipping. Oscar Tusquets Blanca: Spanish architect, designer, painter, and writer, Oscar Tusquets Blanca was born in Barcelona in 1941. He studied Fine Arts and architecture, practicing the latter profession in countries such as France, Holland, Germany, and Japan, in addition to his native Spain. As an architect, he participated in the design of the Olympic Village in Barcelona and the reconstruction of the Palau de la Música in Catalonia. Tusquets Blanca also worked as a furniture and object designer. A specialist in industrial and graphic design, his work in this field earned him awards such as the FAD d'Architecture and the Deltas de Design, which he won several times.
