This chair is part of a series designed by Carlo Bartoli for the Italian manufacturer YCAMI, which at the time specialized in aluminum work.
It notably appears in the 007 GoldenEye music video, starring Tina Turner.
Aluminum is used for the frame, connectors, and, as with this model, for the seat.
Several aluminum working techniques are employed: conizing and bending tubes, die casting, and sheet metal stamping.
