Product description
This is a characteristic pendant lamp by the Dutch manufacturer Herda, straight from the Space Age era. Its unique design, reminiscent of a flower or a mushroom, is a perfect example of the playful and organic shapes of the 1970s.
The lamp is made of plastic with a glossy finish. The exterior has a subtle taupe color when the lamp is off, but transforms into a warm, sunny hue as soon as the light turns on. The white interior of the shade ensures optimal and atmospheric light diffusion. This piece is a typical example of Dutch Design from that period.
This vintage lamp is in good condition, with a character that matches its age. Slight signs of wear on the metal shade and the suspension, and some very small faint scratches on the plastic. The warm glow that the lamp emits immediately creates a cozy atmosphere in any room. It is a beautiful object that is both functional and decorative.
The lamp fits perfectly above a dining table, in a seating area, or as a striking accent in a hallway. It is a great addition to an interior with a love for vintage, retro, or eclectic styles.
