Herda was a family-owned lighting factory founded by the Daniels brothers in 1946. Its main location was in Amsterdam, Netherlands, at v. Marwijk Kooystraat 10, and a second location in Tilburg. The company also had a warehouse in Borne (Schijndel, Netherlands) on Molenkampsweg until 1981. Herda was declared bankrupt on June 24, 1997.
Herda collaborated with several top designers, including Willem van Oyen (who was also very active for the Raak brand).
