This floor lamp by the Dutch manufacturer Herda is a characteristic example of mid-century lighting design. The design stands out due to the conical wood veneer shade, which lends a warm and organic appearance to the whole.
The lamp features a wood veneer shade (50×20 cm) that is height-adjustable on a chrome-plated metal rod. The heavy, brown metal base provides stability and contrasts beautifully with the light wood tones of the shade. The fixture is equipped with multiple sockets, ensuring even light distribution, and is operated by a pull switch. The original brand designation 'HERDA' is visibly cast into the base.
