Product description
This floor lamp by the Dutch manufacturer Herda is a characteristic example of mid-century lighting design. The design stands out due to the conical wood veneer shade, which lends a warm and organic appearance to the whole.
The lamp features a wood veneer shade (50×20 cm) that is height-adjustable on a chrome-plated metal rod. The heavy, brown metal base provides stability and contrasts beautifully with the light wood tones of the shade. The fixture is equipped with multiple sockets, ensuring even light distribution, and is operated by a pull switch. The original brand designation 'HERDA' is visibly cast into the base.
The object is in good condition commensurate with its age and previous use. The wood veneer shows characteristic signs of age, contributing to the authentic vintage look. The chrome rod and metal base are structurally intact and functional.
This floor lamp looks excellent in a modern, Scandinavian, or vintage-inspired interior. It is an atmospheric addition next to an armchair in the seating area or as accent lighting in a study.
