Rare and exclusive desk/table lamp from Herda. Made of high-quality brass and straight from the 1970s. The lamp exudes Neoclassical style with a hint of Hollywood Regency. This beautifully designed small column lamp has many details, such as the fluted column and the beautifully designed square base. Brand label is present under the foot.
Made in the Herda lighting studio in Amsterdam. High-quality lighting was designed and manufactured here manually. This makes these lamps highly sought after and sought after internationally. And they still are, because precisely because of their glamorous appearance, this type of Mid Century lamps from Herda have recently been rediscovered and are currently very popular.
This lamp is in excellent and working condition, with beautifully refined age-related patina. What makes this lamp unique is the brown wood-look leather that is incorporated into the base and bottom layer of the lamp. This version is extremely rare.

Herda Lighting BV (1946 - 1997) was a Dutch lighting factory founded by the Daniels brothers in 1946 with its main location in Amsterdam and a second branch in Tilburg. Herda worked with some well-known Dutch designers from the studio in Amsterdam, including some top designers such as Willem van Oyen.
