Product description
Large, very exclusive Herda desk lamp in glossy high-quality brass. A real pearl, made in the 1970s, in Neoclassical style. This beautifully designed high column lamp has many details, such as the fluted column and the heavy, large, elegant base.
Made in the Herda lighting workshop in Amsterdam. Here, high-quality lighting was designed and manufactured manually. This means that these lamps are very popular and sought after internationally. And they still are, because precisely because of the glamorous appearance, this type of Mid Century lamps from Herda have recently been rediscovered and are currently very popular.
This lamp is in excellent condition, with beautifully refined age-related patina. The lamp has a nice long power cord of up to 3 meters. Original and so typical Herda sticker is present.
Long story short: an imposing lamp that gives any interior instant Hollywood Regency vibes. In addition, you naturally give a beautifully designed gem a new home and a chance to shine again. The shade belongs to the lamp.

Herda Lighting BV (1946 - 1997) was a Dutch lighting factory founded by the Daniels brothers in 1946 with Amsterdam as its main location and a second location in Tilburg. Herda worked with some well-known Dutch designers from the studio in Amsterdam, including some top designers such as Willem van Oyen.
This beautiful Herda lamp can be viewed and picked up in Amsterdam Buitenveldert, parking is easy in front of the door! Feel free to contact me to make an appointment.
