Product description
Decorative Italian opal glass vase from the Opalina Fiorentina manufactory, featuring a vibrant cobalt blue glass body and contrasting white handles. The soft, bulbous shape with its tapered neck is inspired by classic amphora forms, combining traditional Murano glassmaking with the expressive color palette of Italian design objects from the 1950s and 60s. The freely applied, curved white glass handles are particularly distinctive, lending the vase an almost sculptural quality. Depending on the light, the deep blue opal glass creates an intense, almost luminous effect, harmonizing beautifully with mid-century, space-age, or Mediterranean interiors. Its compact yet striking form makes it suitable both as a flower vase and as a standalone glass object. The original Opalina Fiorentina label is still present, underscoring its Italian origin and authenticity.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. Minor irregularities and fine marks in the glass, as well as slight signs of age on the label. No chips or cracks.
