Product description
The design ensemble consisting of an armchair, stool and table including upholstery is for sale. The so-called "Hunting Chair" was designed in the 1960s in collaboration with the wood sculptor Heinz Heger from the PGH Erzgebirgisches Kunsthandwerk Annaberg-Buchholz in the former GDR. This armchair is characterized by its Scandinavian-inspired design, which does not require the use of screws or nails and instead relies on excellent carpentry work. Made from solid oak, the armchair impresses with its clear lines and low seat height of around 35 cm. The "Hunting Chair" was originally intended for export and only reached the GDR market in small numbers. Today, it is a coveted collector's item for lovers of Mid - Century design.
