Product description
This Harvey Guzzini floor lamp is a quintessential example of Space Age lighting design from the mid-twentieth century. The piece is defined by its striking silhouette and vibrant colourway, capturing the optimistic and futuristic aesthetic of the era. the shade is a replacement shade but all other parts are original.
The lamp features a large, domed shade crafted from bright orange plastic, which diffuses light to create a warm, ambient glow. This shade is supported by a slender, polished chrome stem that rests on a matching circular chrome base. The contrast between the vivid orange and the reflective metal is a hallmark of 1970s Italian design. The fixture is designed to provide both functional illumination and a strong visual statement.
The lamp remains in good condition, preserving its original character and structural integrity. The materials show a patina consistent with age and use, reflecting its history as a functional design object.
This floor lamp serves as a bold focal point in any interior setting. It pairs exceptionally well with other mid-century modern or Space Age pieces, adding a vibrant pop of colour and a touch of retro sophistication to a living room, study, or lounge area.
