Product description
TOP-DESIGNCLASSIX ™ "Design classics, design & vintage furniture as new"
For sale is an original Hans J. Wegner / Andreas Tuck Coffee table in "as new" condition!
Object:
Coffee Table, design from 1957
Description:
The table consists of a solid tabletop with mirrored thick veneer on the top and bottom, featuring a beautiful lively grain. Solid edgings form a frame around it. Recessed steel rings are integrated into the tabletop, which receive the table legs via a thread. The turned table legs have a robust shoulder on the tabletop side.
This Coffee table is an early production from the furniture workshop of Andreas Tuck, not to be confused with today's Wegner tables from the Getama factory.
Manufacturer:
Furniture workshop Andreas Tuck, Odense, Denmark
Designer:
Hans J. Wegner, Denmark
Material:
Oiled teak wood
Color:
teak (dark brown with a beautiful reddish tint and natural color nuances)
Info...
The photos are highly exposed so that the excellent condition is visible in detail! Colors generally appear lighter as a result. The shaded areas or areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best represent the true colors. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are semi-matte to semi-glossy.
Dimensions:
approx. W: 150cm; D: 62cm; H: 48.5cm
Condition:
Breathtaking! The table has been lovingly completely restored by a restorer using traditional and natural materials. The result is so good that it is hardly distinguishable from a new one (if one existed). Traces of use are sought in vain!
You will not only see the difference in our surface treatment compared to other providers' offerings, but also feel it, especially regarding the haptics!
