For sale is an exquisite collector's item of Scandinavian design: an original vintage vase from the legendary "Argenta" series by the Swedish manufacturer Gustavsberg. This timeless classic was designed by the renowned ceramicist and artistic director Wilhelm Kåge.
The vase captivates with its characteristic, intensely emerald-green mottled copper glaze.
The absolute highlight is the hand-applied decoration in genuine silver (silver inlay), featuring a detailed maritime fish motif with rising air bubbles and an elegant scale pattern along the upper inner rim. An outstanding example of the elegant Swedish Art Deco style (also known as Swedish Grace).

Condition:
Good, honest vintage condition with a beautiful, authentic patina. The ceramic body itself is absolutely flawless – no cracks, no chips, and no restorations. There is slight wear on the base. The silver decoration is firmly and excellently preserved; upon close inspection, only very superficial lines/scratches are visible on the fish's head (directly on the gill cover).
