Original Danish Mid-Century dining table by Gudme Møbelfabrik, Model 36, made of beautiful rosewood.
The table dates from the 1970s and has a round top with a particularly beautiful, distinctive rosewood grain.
The top rests on two sculptural pedestal bases with rounded, cross-shaped feet.
This type of table, in terms of design and finish, is often attributed to or associated with Danish designers from the 1960s and 70s, such as Johannes Andersen, Arne Vodder, Niels Otto Møller, and sometimes Niels Koefoed.
The table is extendable. With the accompanying original extension leaf, the round table transforms into a spacious oval dining table. The two bases slide apart, ensuring ample legroom is maintained even when extended.
A strong and very practical example of Danish Scandinavian Modern design.

The original Mönster Skydd extension mechanism is present. This is a Scandinavian model/design registration from the 1970s.
The table is in beautiful used vintage condition. The rosewood has a deep warm color and beautiful grain. There are normal light signs of wear, scratches, and small marks on the top and edge, consistent with age and use. The bases also show some signs of wear. See detailed photos for condition.
