Product description
Large brutalist custom-made design table with raw brass finish in an oval shape for 6 people. In addition to this table, we also had round brass tables of 100 cm in stock. Now sold. Can be divided into 2 semi-circular parts, making it modular. Can be used as a sidetable, for example. Each part is equipped with a raw (blue) steel base made of square tubing that is clear lacquered. The raw brass has been deliberately left unpolished to allow it to oxidize naturally. It has therefore acquired a wonderful patina, a unique expression that can change daily. When used freely in the space, the 2 parts quickly create a sculptural effect. The table is in very good condition, including the associated stains, smudges, scratches, and discolorations that are inherent to raw unpolished brass and will only oxidize more and 'worsen'. If you don't like this, you can polish it. At the time of writing, the tables have been cleaned again, and it was noted that due to the use of moisture, stain development still occurs after wiping, as shown in the photos here. Please take this into account, there is clearly life in it - You either love it or hate it. Square tubing is 4 cm x 4 cm. With plastic caps under the legs.
