Special large vintage lamp from the 1970s, made of heavy brass/bronze-colored metal. Due to its generous size and sculptural shape, the lamp is not only a lighting object but also a distinctive interior piece.
The geometric base consists of four characteristic convex surfaces and has a beautifully aged patina. It is special how the metal reacts to light: depending on the incidence of light, the appearance changes from dark bronze to warm brass/gold. This color difference is also clearly visible in the photos.
The design clearly fits within the Italian design style of the 1970s and shows strong similarities with lamps offered as Il Punto style. The lamp is not marked and is therefore explicitly not offered as an original Il Punto.
The heavy metal base is combined with a large square fabric shade in a warm natural/beige hue. Due to its size, geometric shape, and warm metal, the lamp looks great on, for example, a sideboard, cabinet, pedestal, or wide windowsill.
The lamp is equipped with the original period-correct cord switch and is in beautiful vintage condition. Both the base and the shade have an appearance that matches the age of the lamp. The base has a natural patina, and the shade has also been well preserved. There are no explicit damages that detract from the overall appearance. The lamp is fully functional.
